This new Maruti car has created a sensation amongst people with its new AMT technology which is also first in any Indian car. The car has been launched and is already bringing a lot of buyers to Maruti’s Showrooms. Let’s find out what are the reasons for the high popularity of this car.

When you look Celerio from front, you can easily see the high resemblance of this car with Renault Duster. The twin barrel headlights and wide chrome front grille surely hints towards the origin of its styling Side profile of the car has a sharp shoulder line while the rear of the car looks like its younger sibling Alto 800. We wish if Suzuki would have spent a bit more time on its styling.

Maruti Celerio is powered by the famous K10 unit of Maruti which is also powering their other cars like Wagon R and Alto K10. There have been some changes made to this engine though to make it feel more quiet and refined. The engine now behaves nicely below 3000rpm mark and gives instant throttle response at low rpms. In AMT, clutch and gear changes are operated by hydraulic actuators using a dedicated ECM. The car performs better than what you expect and feels like the best car from Maruti till date to be equipped with K10 engine.

Most of the Maruti Celerio reviews have especially pointed towards the up-market interiors and features in this car. The rear leg room and knee room makes this car feel the best in its segment. The cabin quality has been enhanced to add the premium touch to this car. The top variant ZXI which is not available with automatic transmission comes equipped with 14-inches alloy wheels, electrically adjustable side mirrors, rear wiper, washer, defogger and all power windows.
